OFFICERS found a shipment of cannabis, drug equipment and ball bearings in a car they seized in Christchurch.
Hampshire and Dorset Force Police dealt with the uninsured Honda CRV found in Somerford. The vehicle was believed to have been seen at a rural crime hotspot.
A quantity of cannabis, a bong and a large quantity of steel ball bearings were seized from the 4×4, the interior of which was covered in mud and paw prints. The vehicle was seized by officers.
A message on the Ringwood Police Facebook page then said: ‘If this is your vehicle, please call the Ringwood team on 101, quoting 44220201185, to discuss the violations found.
“Drugs and vehicles do not mix and put other road users at risk.
“If you know anyone driving with drugs, please report 101 with full details so we can target tragedy prevention and make the roads of Christchurch and New Forest safer for all.”
Officers also want to hear from those who know of anyone involved in criminal activity affecting rural towns and villages in the New Forest and Dorset.
