NH Ball Bearings Joins the Lakes Region Scholarship Family | Advertisement


LACONIA – New Hampshire Ball Bearings, Inc., in partnership with the Lakes Region Scholarship Foundation, announced the creation of the NH Ball Bearings, Inc. Manufacturing Excellence Award. This award is open to any senior graduate who wishes to pursue higher education in the fields of science, technology, engineering or mathematics.

Two prizes will be awarded in each of the seven secondary schools in the region. One award will be given to a student pursuing a four-year college or university program, and one award will be given to a student pursuing a two-year degree program. Two eligible students will be selected from each of the following high schools: Laconia High School, Gilford High School, Belmont High School, Winnisquam Regional High School, Interlakes High School, Franklin High School and Newfound Regional High School.

The Astro Division of NHBB, located in Laconia, proudly supports many local organizations and is thrilled to add these student awards to support senior graduates pursuing higher education in a STEM field. The ultimate reward for them would be to see recipients achieve their educational goals and bring their talents back to the Lake District.

Recipients of the Excellence in Manufacturing Award will be chosen by the Lake District Scholarship Foundation Board of Directors, and funds will be distributed through the Lake District Scholarship Foundation. lakes region and presented to the selected recipient at their school’s senior academic awards night.
